Hobbies: Cycling on and off road, sports with helmets and wind up Victrola record players. Studying History as it helps me find the future.

I learned to ski when I was 12 and found the love of the turn. Unfortunately, I had a snowmobile accident at 24 years old leaving me with a permanent spinal cord injury. I learned to ski again 10 months later, and my skiing journey was reborn. I have never looked back as skiing gave me passion in life, a career and the connection to the best culture and communities in the mountains. I have been fortunate in my career as part of the PSIA-AASI National team allowing me to spread my love for the sport through instruction and education around the world. for the past 20 years. My wife , Heather, and I now have two teenagers, Carver and Greta, and they are my next passion project in skiing as they benefit from all that this sport is and can be.
