It is a ritual, as if the skis could absorb the energy of a stage known to be as legendary as frightening. In Jackson Hole, a rider follows his instinct, the flow. He glides on the powder with extreme ease, effortlessly.
In Madonna di Campiglio, a group of childhood friends jumps on the very first chairlift to make sure they can streak the knurls left by the snowcat before anybody else.
Meanwhile, in Crans Montana, some children are preparing to put on skis for the first time. This intertwining of destinies does not only follow the common thread of passion, for some nascent and for others deeply rooted.
