I actually didn't learn to ski until I was 25! The first time I rode the lift at Alta, I was HOOKED. I decided to buy a season pass and find some cheap skis that very moment. The next few seasons I was able to ski 90+ days a season, and was soon chasing after goals in the backcountry. I found out I was pregnant at the tail end of the best ski season of my life. I was able to ski (backcountry mostly) up until a week before my son was born. We've raised all our kids on skis! I just wrapped my last season nursing a baby in the lodge between ski runs, and look forward to all the family memories ahead.
