This single strip of metal is tuned to each ski—paired with our Lite Performance Wood Core and carbon stringers. By trimming the out the heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, we enhanced the playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of power and control.
