I grew up in Vail Colorado and started skiing at a young age. As I got got older I joined ski club vail around age 8, this is when I met my coach, Mattie Marks. At ski club, I joined the park and pipe team And competed in park and pipe until the age of 14. I noticed that park and pipe was not my thing and wanted to do more free ride and big Mountain. At this point, I was no longer part of ski club Vail and was only with my coach Mattie on a separate team called 10th Mountain free ride. When I started competing in free ride and did really well and knew that this was my passion.
