Designed to be custom mounted, Nordica’s Race Plate Pro N features a zinc plate and bridge for unrivaled power, precision, and control.
This is our road to perfection. The goal is to push our limits over the boundaries, because we know that the innovation plays a key role to design your best experience. Our R&D department is constantly committed to find and develop new solutions and able to fit the needs of any skier. Whether you are an expert or a beginner, in this section you can dive into the main features of our products and find exactly what you are looking for.
Designed to be custom mounted, Nordica’s Race Plate Pro N features a zinc plate and bridge for unrivaled power, precision, and control.
The running base design has a specific geometric shape to show two features of the ski: A horizontal cut indicates where the rocker starts. The intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge shows the widest point of the sidecut for full engagement of the edge.
Armed with a strong blend of convenience and performance, Nordica’s FDT Race Plate N features a Fast Demo Track for tool-free adjustment and a performance bridge connecting the toe and heel piece for maximum power.
For unparalleled precision and response, Nordica’s Energy 2 TI Double Core sandwiches a Pulse elastomer layer between two wood cores, each of which is then flanked by a layer of titanal.
Nordica’s Energy TI Double Core sandwiches both a titanal and an elastomer layer between two wood cores to create a playful yet powerful ride that’s especially smooth.
The Double Core technology plays with different layers of material and is able to satisfy even the most demanding skiers needs. In Nordica's Double Core Energy construction the Pulse Core, contained between the two wood cores, is made of a rubber elastomer to minimize vibration for a smoother ride.
Smooth, confident, and stable, Nordica’s Enforcer construction embeds both a wood core and an elastomer Pulse core between two layers of titanal. This construction is incredibly high performing, amplifying smoothness and responsivness for an exceptionally fun time.
To create a ride that’s as smooth as it is stable, Nordica’s Santa Ana construction pairs our Terrain Specific Metal technology with our Pulse Core. The tailored sheet of metal combined with an elastomer layer and a full wood core allows you to take your skiing anywhere on the mountain maximizing performance and fun along the way.
We found the sweet spot in each ski width—blending a carefully calculated rocker profile with a tip and tail shape that caters to your style, your snow, and your speed. We call it Freeride Flow. Built to be more playful and fluid.
The multi-radius concept took the shape of our SL skis to develop the tips and tails, and GS skis for the body. These special features ensure better reactivity from edge to edge and easy turns with more stability and precision turn to turn.
The Multi-Condition Shape combines our race on-piste profile with a tip and tail inspired by our all-mountain collection to create a versatile ski that keeps you carving on-piste all day long
Dynamic Race Shovel is a geometric structure specifically developed by Nordica to make the tip more maneuverable. A slight rocker on the shovel eases the first part of the turn, improving control and reducing effort.
The all-new Multipista is a fusion of two rocker profiles, creating a carving ski that will drive through any on-piste condition you encounter with a profile you can ski all day.
With the goal of increasing maneuverability, the unlocked tail shape adds more rise to the tail of our all mountain skis. This tail shape allows you to pivot the ski at slower speeds and in tighter terrain without sacrificing the skis top end performance.
Terrain Specific Metal tailors the edge to edge width of the titanal layer in each ski within the collection. Every ski maintains the same metal profile but proportionally the width of metal underfoot increases with narrower waist widths. This ensures that narrower, more on trail oriented waist widths, have the stability and edge control you need and wider, softer snow oriented skis, have more playfulness and versatility.
Designing skis explicitly built for women required us to perfect the mounting position specifically for women’s anatomical needs. We lowered the binding's heel by 2mm allowing the skier to hold a more natural and centered position on the ski.
By trimming the out the heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, we enhanced the playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of power and control.
Nordica’s FDT Race Plate Pro N provides exceptional performance and features a Fast Demo Track for tool-free adjustment. The bridge connecting the toe and heel track creates unrivaled power transmission from your boot to the ski.
