LOST & FOUND full movie available online for free

Innsbruck (AUT) November 19th 2012 – The Freeride ski movie Lost and Found, featuring Austrian freeriders Stefan Häusl and Björn Heregger, has just completed a successful premier tour throughout Europe and the whole movie is now available online for free. A new approach to freeride access using paragliders, as well as a great vibe and some epic big mountain lines make Lost and Found, presented by Nordica, Salewa, Blizzard, Tecnica and Kjus, a worthwhile movie to check out.

Sometimes hiking or touring up a mountain to reach untracked backcountry lines is far from ideal, especially when starting a multi-day trip with heavy packs with the goal to hike and ski many technical lines. Stefan Häusl and Björn Heregger came up with a unique solution to access the 2881 meter tall Augstenberg in the Arlberg region. Along with two filmers, Stefan Tauber and Hanno Mackowitz, and enough gear and supplies for three days they went to the top of the lifts of St. Anton and used paragliders to sail across the valley to a bowl on the Augstenberg. They set up a base camp there and proceeded to hike and ski countless lines, which they had been eyeing up for years. The whole trip is documented in the movie with enthraling cinematography and great action shots.

After premiering at iF3 in Innsbruck, Lost and Found screened at the Freeride Film Festival in Warsaw, Innsbruck, Vienna and Hamburg with great responses from the audiences. “So far the reaction has been fantastic”, said Stefan who has been traveling to each premier, “witnessing the reactions makes it all worthwhile; the audience really understands and appreciates the motif of the movie, which is awesome!”
