With the new Belle ski line, Nordica declines to ladies all the experience gained over the years, bringing unique innovations that will make your days on the snow unforgettable. In-depth research, focus groups, interviews with female skiers all around the world have highlighted the absolute need to study a product dedicated exclusively to women. For this reason Nordica, in its Ski Excellence Center in Mittersill, Austria, has developed new ski molds with specific geometries for female skiers characteristics.

With Double Core Technology, Nordica rises to a high level never reached before:

using two wood cores allows us to move key construction ingredients to the center of the ski, making it smoother, more playful, and more fun without lowering the speed limit.

NATURAL STANCE

The second main innovation introduced by Nordica in the new Belle line lies directly in the mold.
The central part of the ski, in correspondence with the plate connection, has been lowered by about 2mm and the two parts of the plate have been moved closer, allowing the skiers to assume a more natural, centered position, not stretched forward as usually happens. The immediately perceptible difference is almost the same as that between heels or normal soles on shoes. The greater naturalness of the stance allows the skiers to deliver the power with less effort and to express her best on the slope. The ski is more versatile, allowing a more pleasant time on snow.

Another important technical aspect that Nordica has taken care of, to improve the performance of the new Belle ski, is the closing-up of the two sections of the plate, in order to reduce the surface on which it insists on the ski. The reason why has been quite intuitive, following the morphological study of the female foot. The feet of the female skiers’ feet are generally shorter; for this reason, the traditional length reached by the plate could be easily reduced. In this way, the base on which the plate connects has a lower surface, helping further the natural deformation of the ski.
